Easy White is a product that is said to whiten the teeth up to five shades brighter. The claim is that this product actually brightens smiles just as effectively as would a trip to the dentist.
So what actually makes this product work (assuming it really does work)? This product is advertised as one that has in it a 35% concentration of peroxide bleach. This may seem very potent, and it is.
However, remember that this carbamide peroxide is present in much higher concentrations. This amount would be the equivalent of 12% hydrogen peroxide.
By the way, there is a discrepancy about the active bleaching ingredient used in this product. One source says it has the 12% hydrogen peroxide while another source says it has in it a 35% concentration of peroxide bleach.
In any case, it is a very strong product and works well. Just be careful because it is a tray system and there is a chance of making contact with your gums and irritating them.
On the other hand, this system is probably much faster to use than other bleaching products. You can whiten all of your teeth at the same time-both the top and bottom rows.
Evaluation
This product has the active ingredient in it that is found in most popular oral bleaching products used today. Furthermore, it does help bleach the teeth faster than other products-in as little time as five days.
The taste of this product is probably more appealing than other solutions. It has a minty flavor to it and it will not erode your tooth enamel.
The advantage of a teeth-whitening tray versus using a paint-on gel or a strip is that saliva is less likely to come into contact with the brightener solution. This prevents from watering down the product and it leads to as positive of results as possible.
Speed of Results
Usually this product is advertised as one that takes only up to five days to be fully effective. However, it does begin to work in as little time as a few hours. The maximum amount of time that it would take to apply this solution would be a few weeks.
This may seem slower than having this procedure done within an hour at a dentist office. However, the results are likely to be just as effective and yet this system costs quite a bit less money than a dentist visit.
