Some people think lots of strange solutions are needed to take care of your skin. Take the women who use devices with small electric currants for example. Such things aren’t really needed and unless you’ve already managed to damage your skin badly, there is nothing needed other than a good diet and a bit of sun.
That’s right, SUN. Being in the sun for an hour or so, maybe more (depending on your tolerance) helps your body produce vitamin A, which is a very good skin doctor. This is usually what you get told not to do (“get some sun”) because “you don’t want to damage your skin!”
Well, here’s a good example.
I remember a boy I once knew who was 14. He had terrible skin (like a lot of teens do). When I spoke to him I found that his stable diet was biscuits, coffee and cigarettes! He also spent all his free time in front of his computer.
Aaah, so that’s why when I was a teenager my skin was good (as was a lot of people my age), and yet this current generation of kids seem to sport blemishes and spots as though it was an official document stating their age.
So, after some convincing I got this boy to join a soccer club, change his diet and start getting some proper sleep. He started eating normal meals consisting of some meat (protein), some vegetables (peas, mash potatoes, salad, etc.) and 2 fruit a day. I also had him drinking 3 bottles of water a day.
After about a week of this his face started clearing up. His parents had also noticed that he was more sociable and active, whereas before he would be tired, staying in his room, just generally staying secluded. They honestly thought he would eventually become a hermit.
I told them he should keep going on this program until he is fully handled. So they kept him on it for another 3 months.
At the end of those 3 months I asked them how it was going. They just called him in from the back yard. He came strolling in bright faced, energetic and fully awake. His face was clean as a whistle, not a spot on it. That boy is now 21, he is married and he is very healthy.
Special handlings for different things also exist in this line. For example, taking plain vitamin E capsules and biting them open, then putting the contents onto a scar will eventually make that scar disappear. This means taking A, D & E capsules (cod liver oil) on a regular basis too.
Even though these special handlings exists, the real secret to plainly keeping your skin well cared for and healthy is a good diet (containing a source of vitamins, even if that source is vitamin capsules) and some sun, every day. It also helps a lot to get enough sleep every night. That means 8 hours, for most people.
You will be amazed at the result. Try it for yourself.
