I just recently found a list of 50 weight loss tips that inspired me. Therefore, I wanted to share some of what I learned from that resource.
Practical weight loss tips that inspired me include as follows:
-
From what I have been learning about weight loss is that people often get it so wrong. The first thing they think of is “deprivation” and that makes the process of losing unwanted pounds quite rigorous. This process does not need to be that much “work” really.
-
Slimming down does not mean you cannot ever eat foods you enjoy. I have learned that I remain fuller for longer if I am very selective in what I eat. Furthermore, once I learned to eat the foods I like in moderation it was a huge help to me.
-
I have learned lately that starving my self is a bad idea. Furthermore, I found out that I eat least the rest of the day if I remember to sit down in the morning and consume a healthy, balanced breakfast. By the way, there is no law against eating non-breakfast foods in the morning!
-
Lately I have been consuming most of my vegetables and fruits in viable liquid forms. This has helped me gain the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients I need to become healthy and strong. At the same time I have discovered high-fiber drinks to help me remain regular even while on the go.
-
In addition to re-thinking the process of changing my eating habits, I also have discovered exercise does not have to be “drudgery.” For instance, just lately I helped a friend move and that physical exertion burned calories and fat off of me. That counts just as much as anything as exercise.
-
Changing my eating habits and altering my lifestyle has not only helped me lose weight but it keeps me “balanced.” I feel more stable both emotionally and mentally since I have made this change.
-
I learned that one of the things that held me back regarding exercise and dieting was just getting started. However, once you push yourself you move along quite consistently-as what happened to me.
-
I realized one day as well that half the battle for me was cutting down on sugar intake. However, the more I learn about alternatives to refined sweeteners the better off I am. For instance, I sometimes (still have to remember this I must admit) put honey in my coffee or pure can sugar.
